Giving Back: Rastaclat Joins Soles4Souls on National Barefoot Day

UPDATE: With our efforts, we were able to provide for 1, 000 people that were in need of shoes. We are tremendously proud of this campaign and were touched by your support of Soles 4 Souls. We look forward to supporting their organization in 2014 and will keep you updated with our endeavors. You can have a direct impact on their mission by visiting their site for more information about shoes donations, supply drives and more: www.soles4souls.com

We are partnering with Soles 4 Souls, a tremendous organization that helps thousands of people a year, to raise awareness for an underexposed problem. Soles4Souls estimates that 400 million children are in need of shoes worldwide. This can keep them from enjoying their childhood, but also leads to disease, prevents them from being able to work and even from going to school. Their yearly “Barefoot for Them” campaign reached over 12, 000 people last year and we would like to help them.

Starting on National Barefoot Day, June 1st, we will donate 1 pair of shoes for every pair of laces or shoelace bracelet sold on rastaclat.com. This drive will go until Saturday, June 7th. Our one week initiative will have a lasting impact on many children, the world over. Find out more about donating shoes directly to Soles4Souls, in 5 US locations, by visiting their website.
