Oreo Jordan IV’s, Aunt Pearl KD7’s and Many More On This Week’s #ClatsAndKicks #46
This week in sneakers is highlighted with two of the top drops in the month of February. Jordan Brand and Nike dropped many notables throughout the week and we also got a few other pairs from Adidas and Asics. This is a great transition from last weeks atomic bomb of kicks so keep scrolling and keep up with #ClatsAndKicks!
Our first EP is a given. The Oreo Jordan IV has been on the wishlist of many for a very long time. The sleek tumbled-leather is accented with cement print in this classic 1999 rendition. Part of the Remastered series, these will look and feel like you were back in ’99 when they first dropped. The Jordan IV is a silhouette that carries so many classic colorways and this is just another one of those on the list.
My second and last EP is the Aunt Pearl KD7’s. Inspired by Durant’s late Aunt Pearl, this colorway has cemented itself within the KD signature line. Durant promised to keep her memory alive and he’s done so very well. The story is inspiring and the shoe is just amazing. The clean, angelic feel is a beauty of a colorway and is highlighted with an angel wing strap.
Jordan Brand showed off some new tricks throughout the week. New colorways of the Jordan X, XX, XX8, and Dub Zero is a nice treat to lead up to the Oreo IV’s. Not much more from JB to close out the month as of now, but as always we’ll keep you posted!
Nike hits all over the map once again. Basketball, runners, collabs, and other lifestyles are among this week in Nikes. Highlights include the works of the NikeLab and their rise into the shoe game with sick concepts and minimalistic style.
Ronnie Fieg x Asics never disappoints. Even cooler is that he’s bringing his talents to the West Coast. The deemed “West Coast Projects” have me very excited for not only these shoes, but the future of the project. I’ve always loved the Kith style and I was happy to see him bringing his East Coast flavor to the West.
Adidas is brewing with all of the Yeezy hype, but in the meantime they dropped a Chinese New Year pack. The pack is a bit odd as it includes some D Rose signature kicks, as well as an appearance from a Tracy McGrady sig. We’re used to the “Return” of D Rose, but the return of the T Mac?
