Air Jordan XIV “Ferrari”, AJ XX9s, and THE Pumps on This Week’s #ClatsAndKicks #33

This week we honor Jordan Brand’s beloved XIV model, being it’s most hyped pair in a while. The debut of the Jordan XX9 starts a new age with a nice two-colorway drop. The infamous 90s “The Pump” is reinvented, shining bright in the Burn Rubber collaboration. Who copped what? Read more on this week’s recap, see what you missed out on and reflect on what you copped!

The Challenge Red Jordan XIV made it’s wide release today after its initial drop, exclusively in Chicago. Featuring a first ever all suede upper, they embody the Ferrari 550M (the XIV model’s inspiration). Flashing bright red, they are accented with hints of yellow. Carbon Fiber is also placed on the midsole, giving it more of the Ferrari character. This new look gives new meaning to the XIVs, also known for Jordan’s “Last Shot” against the Utah Jazz in the 1998 NBA Finals.”

A new chapter in the Jordan Brand line emerged this morning, the AJ XX9. Through almost three decades JB has created iconic shoes and left it’s mark in not only sports, but fashion as well. Offering new looks and styles, the JB team is made up of some of the most famous sneaker designers and innovators. Today marked the new age of the XX9s, prolonging the brand’s legacy. Improved technology in the midsole/sole maxes out it’s responsiveness and balance. It’s seamless uppers provide max comfort and durability, also giving it endless possibilities in the style/colorway department. The two colorways that dropped today are a prime example of just how many looks the XX9 will have, as the two pairs don’t even look like the same shoe. The XX9 era is among us!”

Not names you here regularly, but BEAMS and Le Coq Sportif made a splash today with the release of their LCS R 1000.
