WORLD KINDNESS DAY
For World Kindness Day, the Rastaclat team gave back by hosting an event to benefit I Support the Girls, a not-for-profit organization that helps provide bras and menstrual hygiene products for girls experiencing homelessness, some of whom have become homeless as a result of domestic violence. We believe in their mission so much that this is our second time hosting an event with them! Founded in 2015 by a woman named Dana Marlowe, I Support the Girls has since become an international movement.
We got together (in a socially distanced manner) and collected women’s underwear and menstrual hygiene products to do our part. We also donated our Seek The Positive bracelets and included hand-written notes of encouragement from our team. We can only hope that this act of kindness will put a smile on someone’s face and help them stand tall with dignity.
What will be your act of kindness for this international holiday? For those who don’t know, this World Kindness Day was formed in 1998 to promote kindness throughout the world. And really, any act of kindness, big or small, is a win for everyone involved.
