CHEERS TO TWO YEARS
Over the past two years, the Seek the Positive Foundation in partnership with Rastaclat has had the opportunity to inspire 36 million lives, and we couldn’t have done it without you. Read on to see some of the charities and causes we’re partnered with this year that align with our pillars of equality and personal development.
Help Me Help You
We partnered with The Berrics, a famous Los Angeles skateboard park, media company and lifestyle brand, on multiple givebacks including an event that benefitted one of our Long Beach charity partners, Help Me Help You. The Rastaclat and Berrics teams got together to create famous landmarks out of canned goods, and the Seek the Positive Foundation then donated all of the cans (a total of 44 cases) to Help Me Help You.
Peanut Butter Sundays
Here’s another partnership with our friends a the Berrics. Peanut Butter Sundays is a non-profit organization that focuses on creating community that gives back through skateboarding. Every Sunday the staff at Peanut Butter Sundays hosts a skate jam at the Berrics, where people can skate and put together a lunch bag for someone in need. The lunch bags are then distributed to homeless communities around Los Angeles.
APLA
For us, PRIDE is a year-long event. From July through the end of the year, the Seek the Positive Foundation in partnership with Rastaclat will be donating a percentage of all proceeds from their Pride Collection to support WMX's global Pride programming and initiatives. Funds raised will be donated to APLA Health, one of the world’s leading LGBTQ+ organizations providing healthcare, support services, and HIV specialty care.
Water Works Program
The Water Works Program enables people across the world to get involved in building and donating a water filtration system to increase the health and well-being of an entire community. The team at Rastaclat joined together to build five filtration systems for families in Africa, providing them with clean water for at least 10 years.
