It all started with a shoelace. It just took the creativity from Daniel Kasidi, founder of Rastaclat, to create something of purpose out of an everyday item. One day, about ten years ago, he decided to take one of his shoelaces out of a pair of sneakers, braid it and wear it as a way to express himself. The braided bracelet caught on with his friends and soon became more than just a bracelet. It became to be a symbol of positivity and community.
Fast forward to the present, with hundreds of bracelet styles designed, one thing remains constant. Every single braided bracelet is hand-braided, making each style one-of-a-kind and unique. This personal factor is important to Rastaclat as a brand and the standards we hold for our bracelets.
